Sheila • Vocals
Just ask anyone to describe Sheila's performance in two words and they'll say "fully committed." From the moment she hits the stage, it's perfectly clear that she is intentional. She sings each song with a style all her own. She moves, she motivates, she mesmerizes, she ministers, and she makes you feel good. She recorded her first cover tune, Slip Away by Clarence Carter, at the age of seven. She attended the High School of Music and Art in New York City as a voice major. She has been seen on the stage of the Barn Dinner Theater as a "Raylette" in the Pete Peterkin production of Ray Charles Live! She has performed with the Richard B. Harrison Players in productions of Black Nativity at the Harrison Auditorium and Smokey Joe's Café at Paul Robeson Theater at NC A&T State University. She recently appeared with the Aggie Rhythm-n-Blues Revue at the Warehouse Jazz and Supper Club at North Carolina A&T State University. She is often hired to entertain at weddings, private parties and corporate functions. She ministers at several nursing homes and rehab centers in Greensboro, and serves on her church choirs.
